Eavesdropping

In the grocery store looking at rhubarb. Me: You can eat the root of that but I think the leaves are poisonous? M: How poisonous? Me: What do you mean how poisonous, poison is poison. M: I mean am I gonna die if I eat it or just have a really bad day?
"Mom. Can you believe this?" M. at M&D's wedding when the desserts showed up. 12/30/11
