In the grocery store looking at rhubarb. Me: You can eat the root of that but I think the leaves are poisonous? M: How poisonous? Me: What do you mean how poisonous, poison is poison. M: I mean am I gonna die if I eat it or just have a really bad day?

"This book says scorpions make good pets." M. with accompanying hopeful look. As if. Unless this is part of his plot to make a dog seem better. 7/2010
