Rebuffing Murphy's Law
Last week I painted the hallway closet and hung 16 pictures on the walls -- things that have been on my "to do" list since we moved in 5 years ago. Next week I'm going to attempt to make curtains from the bolt of fabric that's been living under my bed for 3 years. That better not mean we're going to move.

Every time I repainted or wallpapered a dining room, we moved. One of the times, the wallpaper was on the wall a total of 6 weeks and then we moved. At the time of the wallpapering, we had no clue we were being transfered. So, when we moved into current house in 1992 and had children Kindergarten and Second Grade, I vowed I would not redecorate the dining room till they were out of school. Still have not redecorated and we still live here.
Why did you hang 16 pictures on the wall of a freshly painted closet...and where did you find pictures of the items on your to do list...
